Tavai is a village in the Kingdom of Sigave , which belongs to France as part of the French overseas territory of Wallis and Futuna .

location

The village is located in the extreme northwest of the island of Futuna , which belongs to the Horn Islands in the Pacific Ocean . Tavai is the second northernmost village of Futuna after Toloke . To the northwest of Tavai is Toloke, a little further to the east is Tuatafa , which belongs to the Kingdom of Alo . Tavai is located on only one road along the coast of the island, the interior of the island is not populated. To the east of the village is the Chapelle de la Sainte Famille, a chapel not far from the border with Alo.
