Taylor Knibb (born February 14, 1998 in Rapid City ) is an American junior triathlete . She is two-time junior world champion triathlon (2016, 2017) and U23 world champion (2018).

Career

Taylor Knibb became World Junior Triathlon Champion (750 m swim, 20.9 km bike ride and 5.4 km run) in Mexico in September 2016.

At the US championships on the triathlon sprint distance, she finished second behind Sarah True in the elite class in March 2017 , making the 19-year-old the youngest athlete to achieve a medal.
In September 2017 she became Junior World Triathlon Champion for the second time in Rotterdam.

In September 2018, the then 20-year-old became the U23 triathlon world champion in Australia on the short Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running). Taylor Knibb lives in Washington, DC
