history

The language emerged around 1870 from the need for interethnic communication between different Pacific residents ( Vanuatu , French Polynesia , Réunion , India , Malaysia , Java , West Africa and the West Indies ) and French convicts working in St. Louis for the production of sugar cane and rum were used.
