Taz-Mania is an American animated series produced by Warner Bros. Television from 1991 to 1993 . The series revolves around the adventures of the character Taz , a Tasmanian devil who previously appeared in Looney Tunes . It is set in the fictional Tazmania .

The series follows the young Taz, a voracious Tasmanian devil who was a character in the classic Looney Tunes as an adult . He lives with his family in Tazmania and works as a page in a hotel. There and with his friends the whirling devil experiences his adventures.

The series was produced in 1991 by Warner Bros. Animation and directed by Kieth Baxter, Gary Hartle, Leonard Robinson and Doug McCarthy. Jess Harnell produced the opening credits, Richard Stone the background music. FOX aired the series from September 7, 1991 in the USA. The last episode was shown on May 2, 1995.
Translations into Italian and Polish followed. The German first broadcast on ProSieben began on May 28, 1994. This was followed by repetitions on Junior , kabel eins , Boomerang and SF Zwei .
