The Tazlina Glacier is a glacier in the US state of Alaska on the northern flank of the Chugach Mountains .
geography
The 38 km long valley glacier has its nutrient area at an altitude of 1500 m in the Chugach Mountains 35 km north-northwest of Valdez . The average 3.6 km wide glacier flows in a northerly direction. Below the glacier is of the 34 km long Glacial Lake Tazlina Lake , which over the Tazlina River and Copper River is drained.
