Teafatule is a small reef island in the reef rim of the Nukufetau atoll in the island state of Tuvalu .
geography
Teafatule lies together with a smaller sister island north of the Teafatule Narrow Deep Pass in the northwest of the atoll. From there the reef crown with its shallows stretches north to the northern tip of the atoll near Funaota .
