Teal Harle (born October 5, 1996 ) is a Canadian freestyle skier . He starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Harle has been participating in FIS and AFP World Tour competitions since 2013 . He achieved his first podium finish in March 2014 at the Showdown Throwdown Hoedown in Silver Star with second place in slopestyle . In the 2014/15 season, he finished second in slopestyle at the Aspen Snowmass Freeskiing Open, the Canadian Open in Calgary and the Dumont Cup at the Sunday River Resort . He also won the Big Air event SnowCrown in Blue Mountain . In March 2015 he made his debut in Silvaplana in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup , finishing 52nd in Slopestyle. At the beginning of March 2017 he won his first World Cup victory in Slopestyle in Silvaplana and at the end of the season he finished fifth in the Slopestyle World Cup. In the same month he came in the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Sierra Nevada on the 13th place in the Slopestyle. In the 2017/18 season, he finished third in Big Air in Québec and first in slopestyle in Mammoth, 14th in the Slopestyle World Cup and tenth in the Big Air World Cup. At the 2018 Winter X Games in Aspen , he took 18th place in slopestyle and at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, he took fifth place in slopestyle.
