The team group is a German trading company in the fields of energy trading, petrol stations, hardware stores, building materials and lubricants. According to its own information, it has 2,785 employees at over 290 locations.
structure
Team AG, founded in 1999 and based in Süderbrarup, is the parent company of the team group. It does not operate itself, but serves the purpose of a management and investment holding. It takes on higher-level service functions for the subsidiaries in the group. In the 2017 financial year, the team group achieved sales revenues of 1.687 billion euros, of which 408.5 million euros were attributable to the construction division and 1,130 million euros to the energy division.
The majority shareholder of team AG is the Danish DLG amba based in Copenhagen .

Bauen + Leben team baucenter
The team group has also been active in North Rhine-Westphalia since 2015. With the withdrawal of BayWa Munich, the team group with a 70% majority stake took over the branches that are operated under the name "Bauen + Leben" at various locations in the Ruhr area and in the Münsterland. There is a central service company in Krefeld that acts as a service provider for the locations in the IT, logistics and marketing sectors.
team energy
Heating oils, combustibles, fuels and lubricants as well as wood pellets are sold under the name team energie, which replaced the previous name team mineralöle in November 2010. In October 2010 the product range was expanded to include natural gas, and at the end of 2012 to include green electricity. Both are offered nationwide. The filling station network consists of complete and automatic filling stations.
