The Technological University for Food Industry Kemerovo ( THL Kemerovo ) is a Russian university in the Siberian Oblast Kemerovo . The college was founded in 1972. The establishment of A. Jeschotkin, 1st Secretary of the CPSU Regional Committee , initiated.
The THL Kemerowo is a leading center for the training of specialists for food companies and other industries in Russia and the CIS countries. It is one of the best universities in the Kuznetsk Basin (Kuzbass). The THL Kemerowo occupies a prestigious place in the ranking of colleges and universities in the country.
About 450 teachers work at the THL Kemerowo. Almost 70% of them have a doctorate . 13 professors are members of the Russian and international academies of science. Some of them were recognized as “honorary workers in university education” or “honorary chemists”.

The Technological University for the Food Industry has its own newspaper “Sobytije”, KWN * team “KemBridge”, student club, student advisory service and many socially significant projects.
The “Student Spring” concert program of the Kemerovo Technological College of Food Industry was awarded the 1st prize at the “Student Spring” festival in Kuzbass in 2008, 2010 and 2011.
KWN team "KemBridge"
"KemBridge" is the master team of the Open City Youth League Kemerovo, the "KWN League on Yenisei" (2008). It is a participant of the festival "KWN-Asia" (Krasnoyarsk), the master team of the KWN regional league "Kuzbass" (2010). 2010, after a successful appearance at the XX. KWN Festival in Sochi, the team was invited to take part in the TV “First League” in Minsk. At the same time, the team played in KWN-Liga Asia. KemBridge reached the finals in both leagues. In 2011 the team played in the KWN tournament WUL and at the same time in the Asia League. In 2012 the team was invited to the Oberliga. The boys reached 4th place in the 1/8 finals. In 2013 the team took part again in the KWN game in the major league, achieved 1st place in the 1/4 final and advanced to the semi-finals.
KWN * - here: popular humorous TV game in Russia and CIS countries, in which teams from different groups (schools, universities, companies, etc.) compete in humorous answers to questions, improvise on various everyday topics, etc.
