The Tecnam P2008 is a single-engine aircraft produced by the Italian aircraft manufacturer SRL Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam .

The two-seat aircraft is available both as an ultra- light aircraft and as a light sport aircraft ( LSA ). Tecnam combines wings with NACA63A profile in metal construction and a structure made of carbon fiber reinforced composite material for the fuselage, which is stabilized by a tubular steel construction. The aircraft is powered by a 74 kW (100 PS) Rotax 912 engine with a two-bladed propeller from the manufacturer Tonini. The fuel is housed in two 55-liter tanks in the wings.

The Tecnam P2008 was presented in April 2009 at the Friedrichshafen European Air Show. The first Tecnam P2008 LSA was delivered to the USA at the end of 2009.
