Tecomán is a city in the Mexican state of Colima and the administrative seat of the Municipio Tecomán of the same name . Tecomán describes itself as the world capital of lime , as the economy is mainly characterized by the cultivation of limes. Tecomán, with around 85,000 inhabitants, is the largest town on the motorway between Manzanillo and Colima .
