Michael Thürnau (born July 23, 1963 in Langenhagen ) is a North German TV and radio presenter , entertainer , emcee and author .

Life

Thürnau attended the Lutherschule Hannover .

He is known to TV viewers as "Bingo Bear": In the lottery program BINGO! Thürnau has been a weekly presenter and lucky charm on NDR television since 1997 . Other television programs include, from January 2005, Thürnau's Fett-Weg Show and, from February 2006, Leicht & Lecker . Michael Thürnau is one of the most popular presenters on the radio program NDR 1 Lower Saxony .

Thürnau is also known as a stage entertainer on numerous folk music and hit tours such as dream melodies of folk music and the great request concert of folk music . He also presents cooking shows. From December 2009, Thürnau moderated the Schaubude together with Sandra Eckardt .

Thürnau is married and has one son. His nickname "Bingo Bear" goes back to Stefan Raab .

In 2015 he had a guest appearance as a sports teacher in the trash film Potato Salad - Don't Ask!

In September 2017 he was a guest at Who knows something?

Thürnau lives in the country, around half an hour from Hanover. He is a fan of FC Bayern Munich.
