Lutz Ackermann (born April 29, 1945 in Brake ) is a German journalist and radio and television presenter.

Life

Ackermann studied German , English and art history in Hamburg and Kiel . He has been working for NDR since 1969 as a reporter, editor and moderator.

In 1985 he moderated the German television edition of the worldwide " Live Aid " concert. From 1988 to 1989 he presented the Saturday evening show Euro Pairs on ARD television. Since 1998 he has moderated the music program The Great Request Concert on NDR television on a regular basis . This music show is often adopted by the MDR , HR , RBB and WDR . The big wish concert including new editions and repetitions is currently broadcasted 24 times a year.

Ackermann was head of music at NDR 2 from 1989 to 1993 and headed the music and entertainment department at NDR 1 Lower Saxony from 1993 to 2009 . At NDR 2 he moderated the programs Der Club , NDR 2 in the morning , record box , complaints corner and espresso . He presented his music program Sweet, soft and lazy first on NDR 2, then on NDR 1 Niedersachsen and since March 2012 on the Hamburg regional broadcaster NDR 90.3 . Airtime: Sunday, 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Since 1973 Ackermann has also appeared as a stage presenter and talk show host .

Ackermann has published nine different books with collections of aphorisms and sayings under the title “The saying of the day” and, together with Michael Thürnau, a book with the title Jokes .

Ackermann is also active in the fine arts and shows his acrylic paintings and collages at exhibitions in northern Germany.
