Ted Pollock

Frederick Hughes "Ted" Pollock (born September 21, 1920 in Victoria , † October 11, 2008 in Rockyview General Hospital , Calgary ) was a Canadian badminton player .

Career

Ted Pollack was national champion in Canada in 1948, where he was able to win the men's doubles competition together with Roy G. Smith . He was successful at the Ontario Championships in 1938, 1947, 1948 and 1949. In 1949 he represented Canada in the Thomas Cup .
