Tegernbach is a district of the Egglkofen municipality in the Mühldorf am Inn district in Bavaria.
history
The beginnings of settlement in Tegernbach probably go back to the 6th / 7th centuries. A foundation in the place "Tegrinpach" is mentioned around the year 1130. The Catholic branch church of St. Nikolaus, a Gothic hall church with a not retracted choir, dates from the end of the 15th century and was later converted to Baroque style. From 1818 to 1934 the place was a separate municipality. On July 1, 1934, the previously independent municipality of Tegernbach was incorporated into Egglkofen.
