Tekfen Holding is a Turkish holding company . The main component is the construction company Tekfen İnşaat ve Tesisat ( Eng . Tekfen Construction and Construction ), which was founded in 1956 by Feyyaz Berker, Nihat Gökyiğit and Necati Akçağlılar. Other companies include Toros Tarım (fertilizer) and Tekfen Real Estate Development Group (real estate).
In 2014, 62% of sales were generated in the construction sector and 36% in agriculture. Toros Tarım runs a large fertilizer plant in Samsun .
In 1996 the Azfen joint venture was founded with a 60% share of SOCAR .
