Telemarksvegen

The Telemarksvegen (German: Telemark Road ), officially Riksvei 41 (RV 41) is a scenic varied road in the south of Norway , the km over a length of 180 north-south direction through the municipalities Kviteseid , Nissedal , Åmli , Froland and Birkenes up Kristiansand runs.
On Telemarksvegen are the Tveit kirke , a church from 1060, the Mollestadeika , Norway's third largest tree with an age of around 1000 years, or the Telemark Canal , an artificial waterway that leads from the center of the province of Vestfold og Telemark to the sea .
The nature along the road ranges from coastal landscape to dense forests to rugged rocky slopes. The 35 km long Nisser , the largest lake in Telemark, runs parallel to Telemarksvegen.
