The Telen (Norwegian for frozen bark ) is a mound of bare rock on the Prince Harald Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises up between the Telebreen and the Skallebreen on the east bank of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it descriptively, mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
