Telma Hjaltalín Þrastardóttir (born March 29, 1995 in Mosfellsbær ) is an Icelandic national football player .

Career

society

Telma started her senior career at UMF Afturelding and scored 8 goals in 13 games before moving to Stabæk Fotball Kvinner in Norway in spring 2011 . In the top series , she made her debut on April 28, 2011 at the age of 16 against Amazon Grimstad . After the defender came to only three appearances in the top series, she returned to Iceland on April 2, 2012 and signed for Valur Reykjavík . She played for Valur for half a year before signing on November 25, 2012 with UMF Afturelding in Mosfellsbær . After a year and a half in Iceland, she returned to Norway on September 10, 2013 and signed again with Stabæk Fotball Kvinner .

National team

The offensive all-rounder played 23 international matches for the Icelandic U-17 and scored 8 goals. Telma also played in 19 international matches for the U-19s and scored 6 international goals. Since 2012 she has been part of the extended squad of the Icelandic national team .

Athletics career

During her school days at Menntaskólinn við Sund / MS in Reykjavík , Telma took part in national youth competitions in athletics .
