Tenis Karlowitsch Lepin

Tenis Karlowitsch Lepin ( Russian Тенис Карлович Лепин ; * January 20, 1895 , † May 11, 1964 ) was a Soviet geneticist. Together with Yuri Alexandrowitsch Filipchenko , he was considered a leading specialist on the question of the variability and inheritance of qualitative and quantitative characteristics of wheat. In 1934 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Science for research in this field. From 1935 he worked closely with Nikolai Wawilow .

The physical chemist Lidija Karlowna Lepin was probably Lepin's older sister.
