The Stadium Court 2009

The Tennis Center at Crandon Park is a tennis complex on Key Biscayne , Florida , United States . The main square, the Stadium Court , has a capacity of 13,800 and was completed in 1994. The first game on this course was on March 11, 1994 between Karin Kschwendt and Kathy Rinaldi-Stunkel as part of the WTA Miami tournament at The Lipton Championships 1994 , which Kschwendt won 6: 3 and 6: 4. The facility consists of 21 hard courts including the stadium and six American clay courts (green).

From 1987 to 2018, the facility hosted the Miami Masters , a tennis tournament in the Masters 1000 category of the men's ATP World Tour , as well as the WTA Miami, a tennis tournament in the premier mandatory category of the women's WTA Tour . An Orange Bowl tournament and other national events will also take place there.
