Joseph Fabrice Ondoa Ebogo (born December 24, 1995 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian football goalkeeper .
Career
society
In 2006 Ondoa joined the Samuel Eto'o Academy and played there until he moved to FC Barcelona in 2009. At FC Barcelona he worked in the club's youth department until 2014. In 2014 he won the first-ever UEFA Youth League with FC Barcelona's U-19 team .
From the 2014/15 season, Ondoa is part of the second team of FC Barcelona, which plays in the Segunda División . Ondoa is also part of the Catalans' UEFA Champions League squad and his contract with FC Barcelona, which he renewed in the summer of 2014, ran until 2017.
At the beginning of January 2016, Ondoa moved to the Segunda División at Gimnàstic de Tarragona . He first came to Farm Team CF Pobla de Mafumet in the third-tier Segunda División B used. With Pobla de Mafumet he had to relegate to the Tercera División at the end of the season .
In August 2016 he was awarded to the second division Sevilla Atlético , the second team of Sevilla FC . In the summer of 2017 he then moved permanently to the Spaniards. But just a year later he signed a contract for four seasons with the Belgian first division club KV Ostend .
National team
After the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, national coach Volker Finke rejuvenated the Cameroonian national team and as a result Ondoa was appointed to the senior squad for the first time on August 24, 2014. At the age of 18 years, 8 months and 13 days, he celebrated his debut on September 6, 2014 in a 2-0 win against the Democratic Republic of the Congo in the qualification for the Africa Cup 2015 , for which he was praised by Volker Finke.
On December 24, 2014, Volker Finke announced that Ondoa and his teammate Macky Bagnack would be part of the Cameroonian squad for the 2015 Africa Cup in Equatorial Guinea, which took place from January 17, 2015 to February 8, 2015. Ondoa played all three preliminary round matches there, Cameroon was eliminated after the preliminary round. At the African Cup of Nations in 2017 , he was able to win the title with the team and was used in all games.
