Teodor Salparov ( Bulgarian Теодор Салпаров , English transcription: Teodor Salparov ; born August 16, 1982 in Gabrovo ) is a Bulgarian volleyball player .

Career

Salparov played for CSKA Sofia until 2004 . He then moved to the Russian league, where he played one season each with VK Lutsch Moscow and ZSK Gazprom-Ugra Surgut . In 2006 the Libero reached third place at the World Cup with the Bulgarian national team . He was then committed by VK Dynamo Moscow . Dynamo won the national cup in 2007 and was runner-up. With Bulgaria, Salparov took third place in the World Cup . Then he played again in Sofia. At the Olympic Games 2008 Bulgaria came with Salparov in the quarter-finals and thus in fifth place. The 2009 European Championship ended for the national team in third place. Then Salparov played another year at Dynamo Moscow. Since 2010 he has been back at CSKA Sofia. In 2012 he reached fourth place with Bulgaria at his second Olympic tournament in London .
