Terefe Yae

Terefe Yae (born February 12, 1981 ) is an Ethiopian marathon runner .

At its premiere, the 2004 Berlin Marathon , the organizers inadvertently put him in the starting block for amateur runners. Although he had to overtake more than 9000 runners, he still came in 26th place in 2:17:29. In 2005 he won the Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon and achieved his best time of 2:12:07 in tenth in Berlin. In 2006 he finished second in Arizona and fourth in Berlin, and in 2007 he won a second time in Arizona.

In 2009 he finished second in the Las Vegas Marathon , and in 2010 he triumphed for the third time in the Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon.
