Teremok ( Russian Теремок ) is a Russian chain of fast food restaurants . The company operates over 300 branches across Russia, including Moscow , Moscow Oblast , Saint Petersburg , Krasnodar , Tyumen and Surgut . It is one of the largest local fast food chains in the country. Traditional Russian food and drinks are served.

history

The company was founded by Mikhail Goncharov in 1998 and started out as a street kiosk selling blini and kvass . He was soon able to expand and opened new kiosks and restaurants. The product range has been expanded to include numerous other traditional Russian dishes. Teremok quickly grew into a company with millions in sales. The company is now also trying to gain a foothold in the western market. In autumn 2017 there were two branches in New York City , and the opening of branches in Germany , Great Britain and China is planned.
