Teresa Bloomingdale

Teresa Bloomingdale (born July 26, 1930 in Saint Joseph , Missouri , USA as Teresa Burrows , † April 6, 2000 ) was an American writer .

Bloomingdale was born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of journalist Arthur Burrows and his wife Helen Cooney Burrows. She attended Duchesne College in Omaha and married the lawyer A. Lee Bloomingdale in 1955. Bloomingdale gave birth to ten children over the next twelve years. She started writing at the age of 42. Bloomingdale wrote cheerful, autobiographical novels about everyday life as the mother of ten children. In addition to her work as a writer, she has also worked for various newspapers, such as the Omaha Sun , The Omaha World Herald and Our Sunday Visitor .
