Teresa Guadalupe Worbis Aguilar , called Lupita , (born December 12, 1983 in Mérida ) is a Mexican soccer player who was last under contract with Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League in the 2013 season.

Career

In 2011 Worbis played for the university team of ITES Monterrey at the Puebla campus , after which she was part of the Indiana FC squad in the American WPSL elite .

In January 2013, Worbis was allocated the Washington Spirit franchise in the so-called player allocation to the newly founded NWSL . She made her league debut on June 15, 2013 against the Western New York Flash as a substitute.

National team

Worbis played for the Mexican U-20 national team. In 2004, she made her debut for the senior national team of Mexico and took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2011 World Cup with them.
