Terrence Williams (born June 28, 1987 in Seattle , Washington ) is an American basketball player.
NBA
He played in the position of Shooting Guard or Small Forwards until December 2010 for the New Jersey Nets in the NBA , which had selected him in the 2009 NBA Draft . On December 15, 2010 he moved to the Rockets as part of a trade between the Nets, Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets. On March 16, 2012, he was released from the Rockets. A short time later he was signed by the Sacramento Kings . However, he did not receive a new contract in Sacramento for the 2012/2013 season and moved to the Detroit Pistons in September 2012 , which released him in October.
In November 2012, he moved to the Chinese basketball league, the Guangdong Southern Tigers . He left this again in February 2013 and signed on February 21, 2013, a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics . On March 1, 2013, he signed a multi-year contract with the Celtics. He was released on June 30th.
In October 2013 he signed a contract with Türk Telekom . However, this was dissolved after two games.
