Terry Camilleri (referee)

Terry Camilleri (born January 19, 1974 ) is a Maltese professional referee of the snooker variant of billiards .

Life

Terry Camilleri is an active snooker player himself with a maximum break of 70. He obtained his referee license in 1990 and his first professional game he ran was in 2001 when Peter Ebdon and Tony Drago , one of the few Maltese professional players, met. The first final he directed was that of the 2007 Malta Cup with finalists Shaun Murphy and Ryan Day . So far he has led six finals, the Malta Cup 2007 and 2008 , the Shanghai Masters 2008 , the Welsh Open 2012 and 2018 and the Masters 2013 . So far (2018) four maximum breaks have been played in the games he directs .

His hobbies are football (Manchester United), cars and home improvement, and when he is a referee he has two ball markers, a coin and a prayer card in his pocket.
