Terry Howard Devine-King (* 1965 ) is a British composer .

Career

Terry Devine-King began his musical career as a keyboardist , among others for the Ensembles Cutting Crew and The Style Council . He had several projects of his own in different genres and founded his own studio in London in 1995 . Since that time he has established himself as a composer for music in television and advertising and is now seen as one of the UK's leading composers in the field. He is under contract with the London music company Audio Network , for which he has written hundreds of tracks in a variety of styles. His composition Breakfast Briefing from the album Commercial Cuts Volume 1 , which is played as the theme song in the satire show heute-show, gained fame in Germany .

Devine-King's compositions have appeared in numerous (advertising) films, trailers and games, including the BBC series The lost Kingdoms of South America , the video game Heavy Rain and the films John Carter - Between Two Worlds , Iron Man and From Paris with Love . In addition to his work at Audio Network, he carried out numerous orchestral projects at Abbey Road Studios .
