Terry Rossio
Terry Rossio (born July 2, 1960 in Kalamazoo , Michigan ) is an American screenwriter .
Career
He is best known for his scripts for Pirates of the Caribbean Quadrology. Together with his colleague Ted Elliott , he was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award in 2004. The two also wrote the Oscar- nominated screenplay for Shrek . For this they won an award each at the Annie Awards and the British Academy Film Awards .
He made his debut as a writer in 1989 with Kleine Monster .
