Teruji Kogake ( Japanese 小 掛 照 二 , Kogake Teruji; born December 18, 1932 in Jōge , today Fuchū , Hiroshima Prefecture ; † May 9, 2010 in Tokyo ) was a Japanese triple jumper .

In 1956 he was eighth at the Olympic Games in Melbourne .

From 1954 to 1957 he was Japanese champion four times in a row. On October 7, 1956, he set up his personal best with 16.48 m in Sendai . Previously, only Adhemar da Silva had jumped further (16.56 m on March 16, 1955 in Mexico City ).

He later became the head coach of the Japanese Athletics Federation, as its vice president from 1995 to 2005. From 1999 to 2003 he was Vice President of the Japanese Olympic Committee .
