The Teufelsbach is a 12.7 km long orographic left tributary of the Stever in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

The initially unnamed stream rises between the Ascheberger Lüktebauernschaft and the Ichterloh house near the Ruhr area-Münster railway line in the Berger landscape protection area (LSG 4211-0006). After a small curve to the east and north, it turns to the west at Rengshausen and crosses under the railway line. Past small ponds and the farms of Hans-Siegfried Schulze-Ehring and Bornemann, after four kilometers it receives an unnamed tributary on the right and left. The catchment area with a total of 36.9 km² is largely composed of agricultural areas and a small portion of forest.

The stream continues to flow in a westerly direction north past Nordkirchen . Here he dined earlier the moats of the dialed Castle My Hovel . Small trenches and drainage canals flow towards it. There are some larger farms, manor houses and mills along the stream. At the Kreisstraße 2, the Meinhöveler Mühle used to be supplied with water power from a branch. Shortly afterwards, the Gorbach flows into the Teufelsbach on the left. Past the Nordkirchen sewage treatment plant and the Güler Heide forester's house , it goes through the Lüdinghauser Ermen farmers. At the Gruppenhof Fohrmann , which is only preserved as a ground monument , the stream turns to the southwest and shortly afterwards flows into the Stever.

The nature reserve Am Teufelsbach from the Nordkirchen-Herbern landscape plan is named after the stream . The approximately 10.7 hectare area belonging to the Lüdinghausen parish was designated in 2002 due to its grassland near the stream, the hedges and oak-hornbeam forests. The Teufelsbach itself flows along the northern edge of the protected area and receives tributaries from this.
