The Teufelskrug , formerly also Düvelskrog , is a small lake in the municipality of Mirow in the Mecklenburg Lake District . The almost round body of water has a diameter of 180 meters, an area of 2.5 hectares and is 60.6 m above sea level. NHN . The Teufelskrug receives water from the Stockersee 600 meters away through a ditch formerly known as the Havelarm and is now unnamed and drains to the Großer Säfkowsee , 230 meters south- west , from which it runs through the connecting path from Blankenförde to Granzin, a district of Kratzeburg, is separated. All lakes together were originally only called "Stowkower Lakes".
Except for the marshy channel in which the ditch runs, the Teufelskrug is surrounded by forest, in the south by the fir trees. It is located in the Müritz part of the Müritz National Park .
