Tex Harding (actor)
Tex Harding (actually John Karl Thye ; born January 4, 1918 in Illinois , † April 28, 1981 in Spangle , Spokane County , Washington ) was an American actor.
Harding appeared as a singing partner of Charles Starrett in several series films around the western character of the "Durango Kid". He rode a horse known as "Diablo", which was also used in numerous other westerns. His sister was the actress Dorothy Dix . After his short career, he went back to his apprenticeship as a butcher.
