Thuringian way

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Thüringer Weg ( Doringsvordeweg or Hohe Straße ) was a route connection from Blankenburg via the Palatinate Bodfeld and the Silberkulk (on the Kapitelsberg near Tanne ) to Sülzhayn and Ellrich in the southern Harz . The path is first mentioned as "Doringsvordewegh" 1226 and "de olderechte Wegh" 1427.

The path probably dates back to the 10th century. In 1226 Bertoldus de Othstede was murdered on the Silberkulk, he was the son of the Reich Ministerial Gerung.
