Thames Clippers
Thames Clippers is a regular boat service on the River Thames in London that connects central London with Docklands . Catamaran ferries with speeds of 25 or 28 knots are used . It also markets its connections as the River Bus .
Route
Thames Clippers operates five routes:
- Commuter Route: Connection between Savoy Pier in London's West End to Greenwich and Royal Arsenal , via London Bridge , Canary Wharf and Greenland Pier (in Surrey Quays ).
- Tate to Tate (“Tourist Route”): Direct link between the Tate Britain and Tate Modern museums .
- Hilton Service : Ferry service between Canary Wharf and the Docklands Hilton Hotel in Rotherhithe / Surrey Quays
Thames Clippers also operate between the London Eye and the Tower of London in the summer months .
Prices
Thames Clippers is not directly part of Transport for London and independently charges its own fares. However, Thames Clippers grants holders of Travelcards (day, month and week tickets from London Transport), Oyster cards and children from 5 to 15 years of age a discount on the fare. The fare is not offset against the daily maximum amount of the Oyster card .

ThamesOnline offers wireless internet for passengers along the entire route .
