The Thammasat Stadium ( Thai สนาม กีฬา ธรรมศาสตร์ ), also called True Stadium (main sponsor of the Bangkok United club), is a multifunctional stadium in Pathum Thani in Pathum Thani Province . It is located on the grounds of the Thammasat Rangsit Sports Center in the north of Bangkok. The stadium was built for the Asian Games in 1998 by the architects Christiani and Nielsen .
The stadium is very similar to the architecture of the Rajamangala National Stadium, although the Thammasat Stadium is roofed on both back straights; it has space for 20,000 spectators. Today the stadium is mainly used by Thammasat University .
The stadium is owned by Thammasat University . The stadium is operated by the first division club Bangkok United .
