Than Htet Aung (born June 5, 1992 in Rangoon ) is a Myanmar soccer player .

Career

Than Htet Aung learned to play football in the youth academy of Yangon United . Here he signed his first contract in 2010. The club played in the Myanmar National League and is based in Rangoon . In 2015 he was loaned to league rivals Zwekapin United for a year after Hpa-an . After his contract with Yangon United ended, he moved back to Zwekapin United in 2018. After a year he went to Thailand after 23 games . Here he signed a contract with the second division, the Thai League 2 , playing club Samut Sakhon FC in Samut Sakhon . After a year he went back to his homeland and joined the first division club Ayeyawady United from Pathein .

National team

Than Htet Aung played six times for the U-19s and four times for the U-23 national team . He has been an integral part of the Myanmar national team since 2018 . He made his international debut on October 10, 2018 in a friendly against Indonesia .
