The Myanmar U-23 national soccer team is a selection team of Myanmar soccer players . It is subordinate to the Myanmar football association MFF and represents it internationally at the U-23 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, at U-23 Asian championships as well as the football tournaments of the Summer Olympics , the Asian Games and the Southeast Asian Games .
So far, the team has not been able to qualify for the Olympic football tournament. Myanmar took part in the U-23 Asian Cup once, but was eliminated in the group stage in 2014 . At the Southeast Asian Games in 2007 and 2015 , the team won the silver medal. Myanmar took part in the Asian Games for the first time in 2018 , but did not get beyond the group stage.
Eligible to play are players who have not yet reached the age of 23 and who have Myanmar citizenship .
