The Yemeni U-23 national soccer team is a selection team of Yemeni soccer players . It is subordinate to the Yemeni football association YFA and represents it internationally at the U-23 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, at U-23 Asian championships and the football tournaments of the Summer Olympics and the Asian Games .
So far, the team has not been able to qualify for the Olympic football tournament. Yemen took part twice in the U-23 Asian Cup and once in the Asian Games, but both were eliminated in the group stage.
Eligible to play are players who have not yet reached the age of 23 and who are Yemeni citizens.
