The Mongolian U-23 national soccer team is a selection team of Mongolian soccer players . It is subordinate to the Mongolian Football Association MFF and represents it internationally at the U-23 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, at U-23 Asian championships and the football tournaments of the Summer Olympic Games , the Asian Games and the East Asian Games .
So far, the team has not been able to qualify for the Olympic football tournament or the U-23 Asian Cup. In their two appearances in the East Asian Games, the team finished fifth. Mongolia has not yet participated in the Asian Games, and had withdrawn from the 2002 tournament before the start.
Players who have not yet reached the age of 23 and who are Mongolian citizens are eligible to play.
