The Mongolian national soccer team is the national team of the Central Asian state of Mongolia . Football is more of a marginal sport in Mongolia and it is one of the most unsuccessful teams in the continental association AFC .
Mongolia has not yet managed to qualify for a soccer world championship or for the Asian championships. In its history, so far (as of December 2016), she has only been able to win against six national teams: against Guam , against Macau , against the Northern Mariana Islands (associated AFC member, but not a FIFA member), against the Philippines , against Myanmar and against Sri Lanka .
