The Thangman Kangri is a 6864 m high mountain in the Rimo Muztagh , a part of the Karakoram .
Location and characteristics
The Thangman Kangri is located in India near the disputed border with Pakistan . The mountain is located 4.15 km east of the Mamostong Kangri , to which it is connected by a mountain ridge. In between there is a 6260 m high saddle. The mountain is flanked in the north by the southern Chong Kumdan Glacier and in the south by the Thangman Glacier .
