The Goode Family is an American animated series that was produced in 2009 and broadcast on ABC . There has not yet been a German publication. The series is about a family that wants to be as left-wing liberal and environmentally friendly as possible , and the difficulties associated with this absolute lifestyle. The series was developed by Mike Judge , John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky , who had previously worked on King of the Hill , a satire of a conservative family, for 13 years .

Characters

  • Gerald Goode ( Mike Judge ) - The father of the family often rides his bike, his trademark being wearing cycling clothes. He's an administrator in a college.
  • Helen Goode ( Nancy Carell ) - Gerald Goode's electro-complex wife goes out of her way to impress the wife of Gerald's boss.
  • Ubuntu Goode ( David Herman ) - The 16-year-old was adopted by Gerald and Helen from South Africa . After his parents filled out the forms incorrectly, they ended up with a white child instead of the desired black child. Ubuntu is a member of its high school football team.
  • Bliss Goode ( Linda Cardellini ) - The family's biological daughter often contradicts her parents and also goes against their political opinions.
  • Che ( Dee Bradley Baker ) - The dog named after the guerrilla leader Che Guevara is fed vegan food. Hence, it has a habit of eating the neighbors' pets.
