David Herman

David Herman (born February 20, 1967 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor and voice actor .

Life

Herman grew up in Washington Heights and graduated from high school in 1987 . Then he attended an acting school. He made his first film appearances in 1989 in Roadhome and Born on July 4th . Between 1995 and 1998 he played in 54 episodes of the comedy series MADtv , an offshoot of the US Mad Magazine . In 1999 he played one of the leading roles in the satire Alles Routine , followed by the comedies Dude, where is my car? And scream when you know what I did last Friday the 13th of the year after. His other feature film roles include appearances in Dick and Jane and Idiocracy .

Since 1997, Herman has also been a successful voice actor for animated films. He spoke to various recurring characters between 1999 and 2003 such as Scruffy the Janitor and Dr. Wernstrom in the Futurama series . He had other speaking roles in the series American Dad , The Drinky Crow Show and The Goode Family . Since 1997 he has also spoken Buckley in the series King of the Hill . He is often cast by director Mike Judge .

Herman is married and has one child.
