The Green Organic Dutchman (TGOD) , headquartered in Mississauga , Ontario , is a cannabis company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE abbreviation: TGOD) . The IPO , which completed on May 2, 2018, was the largest in the industry to date. TGOD has a projected production capacity of 219,000 kg of cannabis per year and builds and operates cannabis production and processing plants in Ontario, Quebec , Jamaica and Denmark totaling 1,643,600 square feet (approximately 152,700 square meters).

TGOD produces organic certified cannabis and also offers organic hemp products. The company bought the hemp producer HemPoland in 2018.

TGOD signed an agreement with the German company Symrise to develop cannabis beverages .

In August 2019, TGOD applied for the company's shares to be traded on the NASDAQ . The company is also planning to enter the German market.

The company's CEO is Brian Atheide, who previously served as Procter & Gamble 's global CFO for 25 years .
