In 1956 they made rockabilly recordings with Mississippi Records, a small sub-label of Starday Records , where their best-known track I'm Gonna Rock Some Too came about. Meanwhile, they appeared regularly on the radio station WAPF in McComb . They were always accompanied by bassist John White. Ralph Hodges also made records for Whispering Pines Records and Decca Records . In 1960 the Hodges Brothers played again with the Arhoolie Records records, which were recorded in the WAPF studio. Arhoolie released these recordings on CD in 2003. Felix and Ralph Hodges did not experience this anymore, they died in 1979 and 1976.
