The Last Goodnight was an American alternative rock band from Connecticut .
Band history
In 1995, the musicians met at Enfield High School in Connecticut and have been under the name Renata ever since . The six musicians toured along the east coast and made a name for themselves with their performances and two in-house albums. They were noticed by Warner producer Jeff Blue nine years later . Within two years they produced a new album. They renamed themselves The Last Goodnight and signed a recording deal with Virgin Records in 2007 . They became known with the song Pictures of You , which was used in a trailer for the US series Brothers & Sisters and in a commercial on a US sports channel. It became an international success and reached 3rd place in Australia and 15th place in Sweden. The album Poison Kiss made it into the top 5 of the US Heatseeker charts, but missed the official US album charts.
