The Last Wish was a Houston rock band formed in 1989 and consisted of Justin Furstenfeld (later founder of Blue October ), Amy Immel, Katy Hartzog, Michelle Trautwein, Greg Hammond, Leital Molad and Brady Hammond, who were at Bellaire High School and at the time attended the High School for Performing and Visual Arts.

The band was known in the Houston area. She released two albums and a vinyl single. A third album should follow, but the recording was canceled because the band broke up in 1995. Singer and guitarist Justin Furstenfeld founded the band Blue October a short time later . Ryan Delahoussaye , who also attended the High School for Performing and Visual Arts, was active as a guest musician with the band, but he was never a permanent member of the band.
